ABOUT THE ALBUM

The Autoset have released their debut album PERFECT ISOLATION . It is a concept album consisting of 12 progressive rock songs. The concept happened by sheer accident . As each song came out we realised there was a pattern emerging. "Kaleidoscope" is essentially a love song. Boy meets Girl and falls in love. "All Give no Take" . Is a song about how the man is being mistreated by his woman . She spends all of his money and begins to squeeze the life out of him. This carries on for a while and she is continually nagging him about his excessive time on the computer. "Brainwaves" Our hero is starting to slide into madness and when he sees his wife kissing another man it tips him over the edge. "Someone said something" He tries to get out of his own personal hell but his emotions are hunting him down and there seems to be no escape. Over time his thoughts become more and more disturbing and paranoia takes over as he is hunted down by the "Restless Dogs" "Looks like pain" He can't drown out the voices in his head and one stormy night he knifes his wife to death and hides her body in the lake. "Schizoid" a very dark and sinister look inside the assylum. He is caught and sentenced to life imprisonment in a mental institution and is let out after 20 years. Supposedly cured of his mental illness and deeply repentant. He thinks he keeps seeing the "Ghost" of his murdered wife. He longs to be with her and considers suicide. Which takes us to the penultimate song "Old and Grey". T5 Finally he dies but his journey is not a smooth one as he leaves in a hurricane straight into the jaws of Hell.
